SNOW (!!!) AND ELTON JOHN

Ted and I went and saw Elton John last night. It's surreal seing a legend and seeing a legend like Elton John in a small auditorium in Montana. It was so fun. And it has started snowing on the tops of the mountains. Soon I'll be able to run in my new special running showshoes!!! Yippppeeee!!!

So should we have a betting pool for when Joanna's baby is coming???

If memory serves, Joanna could give birth any day now!!!

What an incredible day!!! If you click on the picture you can see all of them although they might be backwards

I'm all packed for the 57K Iris and I are doing this Saturday. It's totally unsupported so we have to bring everything. By bringing my little hydration pack I don't have room for extra socks or a compass. I will be ok, right? I'm also hydrating for the race as you can see. Red wine is delicious.

I have:
Tylenol
S-Caps (electrolytes)
first aid
headlamp
body glide
bear spray
steri-pen (water purification)
aqua vira tablets (backup water purification)
camera
rain jacket
space blanket
about 3500 calories worth of food (trail mix, cliff shots, ProBars, gels)
2 L of water (I might also carry a bottle)

Grizzly Bear Man

Ted and I went to our friends Eric and Krista's lake house on Rogers lake last night for some Labor Day weekend beer drinking and eating. It's a gorgeous little area and it was very pleasant.
