A shout out for my Boston PR-ing homies

(pictured above, me and Cheryl, aka NoTrain McPR)

I am so proud of my buddies who ran Boston yesterday!!! Miss Cheryl ran a PR, despite the fact that she no longer "trains" for races and ran a 3:36! Wooooooo!!! Cheryl is going to be crew extroardinaire at Western States and get me to the Placer track. :-)

Ed ran a 2:41 and Chris ran a 2:44:59 -- both PRs! Way to represent! (I'm referring to your representation of big bellied boys :p).

Nice work! Just imagine if Cheryl trained. ;)

I would worry about putting this picture on my blog but for the fact that they have been published doing this. . .

Did you hear about the man training for Western States who had to be rescued in the Sierras? http://www.sacbee.com/101/story/879450.html or http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24243739/

Don't let me see you being rescued by helicopter! :-)

Tom -- I am definitely going to the training weekend. I'm really looking forward to it. Your brother is amazing! Are you pacing/crewing? Will you be at the training camp?

I'm glad you're ok with it Chris! Again, awesome job!!!

danni,
oh, i will be at he training camp for me. i'm in this year. jeff will be going for top ten again but the field is DEEP. i look forward to not running in a blast furnace like in '06, where it was 110 degrees in the canyons and still 85 degrees at midnight.

the training camp is fun and a gret way to gain course knowledge.

Tom -- AWESOME! I will have to pick your brain at training camp.

OK, so how do you know it will be good weather? Or are you just hoping? I'm still running in fleece and gloves here. . . so cooler would be fine by me.
