For today's long run (25 miles) I ran up and down and up and down Lone Pine. I felt good during the run and feel good still. I think that despite the fact that trail running is more exhausting and makes my heart rate higher, it hurts a lot less. My legs aren't screaming at me, which is nice. Leanne did LPs 2-4 (3 of 'em) with me, which was great. Thanks Leanne. And thanks bad music on my iPod for getting me through.
This hill is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S!!!

Way to go Danni! I hike the Sperry Chalet trail again today. I think it could be runnable - portions are a bit icy though.
Danni-
Can I get a Whoopwhoop?! Nice long run, chica! Great job!
So, didja run all the uphills? That looks like almost 5000 feet of climbing total?
I like how you thanked your iPod. Make sure you mention every one of you supporters, m'kay? M'kay. ;)
Meghan
Iris -- maybe I'll soon check out Sperry Chalet trail! Ice isn't a big deal with those IceBugs.
Meghan -- I did a lot of power hiking (whatever that means) on the up portion. I figured I need to practice doing that anyhow.
I had more people, animals and objects to thank but the music started playing over me and it cut to commercial break.
So, if I keep reading your blog, is that like the same as me working out?
Joe in background: "Yeah, I think it's the same."
:O
Good training for the Big Dance, huh?
olga stole my saying. that's ok. the big dance does require some hill repeats. nice training.
Sorry, Tom:) Yes, I used your fav phrase!
