FANTASTICAL WEEKEND!
Shawn took Corey and me up to Hellroaring Peak, which involved a lovely hike. I wore my skins and they carried their boards.
The sun was shining and the sky was blue. Does life get better than this? I am embarassed to admit though that at one point on the way down I took my skis off and carried them. I'm really not good in the trees. . . but it was really fun to get into the "slackcountry." Yesterday was similarly gorgeous. I got up early, hiked up the mountain, took a few turns and enjoyed some beer. Have I mentioned that life is good?
This week I head to Chicago for "trial school" and will be there for about a week and a half. I miss my friends and am looking forward to seeing them, but I can't say I think we made a bad choice with the relocation thing.
I think ski season is winding down with all this sun and warm weather we've been getting. I'm looking forward to trail running! Wheeeeeeee!!!

Looks awesome - as always. All that hard work with the ski climbing should be good cross training for hitting the trails once they dry out. Bring on "mud season", right?
Have a great week!
Looks truly awesome. What a great way to spend your time, seriously. Beer and sunshine and mountains and exercise.
Please bring a dose of sunshine to Chicago along with you. We will make sure to have beer on hand. : )
Just got back home and...
Spring fever was just doused with a healty serving of 'March Snowstorm'...Back to skis!
Safe trip to Chicago!

Playing catchup again with blogs...
You do have an awesome life, and luckily for you, you know it!
What's this about trial school?
Loved the Grand Canyon saga. I'm really gonna have to try that one of these days, preferably when it's not so hot.
Also loved your comment about world dominance on Devon's blog. Hilarious!
Take care!
Cynthia
Cynthia I'm attending NITA's "trial skills" program. We have a full bench trial and jury trial -- I've tried one case (bench trial) and would like to be a more confident trial do-er! And thanks :-)
