WEEKEND IN BANFF

The adorable Banffians Leslie and Keith. Or is it Banffites? Banffers?

I was due for a visit to Keith and
Leslie's in Banff, AB and I hadn't yet seen Banff in the summer so off I went.

We went to this fantastic backcountry lodge called Skoki and had a grand ol' time. I took a gazillion pictures, which was in part due to my desire to lolligag and in part due to the beauty of the place and the fun of the run/hike. So there's lots of pictures in this here blog post.

The pictures are also not in order, but above is me and Leslie at Lake Louise. We visited with the million other people after our run to Skoki.

It was nice and toasty warm so Leslie and I took a dunk in the glacier lake. Keith and Leslie told me the names of each lake, mountain and marmot but I'm lucky if I can remember my own name much less all those other names.

Note that the lake is fed by the melt off the glacier. Yes, it was cold.

Leslie and Keith are awesome. It's nice to have super awesome friends like them who happen to live in Banff and know the cool places to go :p

There were some rocks on our run.

This is the Skoki lodge. The people who run it are awesome and the lodge is gorgeous. I'm trying to convince Ted that we should go there together.

Below is Leslie and Keith. They're running the Trans Rockies run as a team. Isn't that cute? They're very cute.

Another beautiful run Danni. I love the matching outfits too.
My goal upon realizing the fruits of my "clean eating" efforts is to be able to wear cute little lululemon shorts like yours -- though I can't be trusted with anything white.
And yes it's very important to match in case you get separated. People need to know who you're with by style.
Okay that is funny Danni! I will have to tell my friends that. Not so sure many of them are up for the matching yet but I will work on them. You will love the shorts and forever be addicted...danger!
Danni,
You pulled a Leslie in the last pic! She is always pointing at things in her photos. AS IF we can't tell there's a big ass mountain in the background on our own!
The canoe is fine and Keith wore a helmet while we put it on the car. All's well that ends well and I wish you were here!
Meghan
I'm relieved about the helmet Meghan. Have fun canoeing!
P.S. You are funny :-)
Looks like a good trip from the pictures.
Ted does not seem to post.
Did you know the meaning of using 'Danni & Ted's Adventures' is 'Danni's adventures'
and
'Ted's adventures'
;¬)))
